We are searching for a Data Entry Specialist to take paper records and manually enter them into our proprietary database. The role will require you to sort through data, spot errors and omissions, and then follow internal protocols to to correct the data. Once the data is entered and backed up, you will file it in a paper filing system in the appropriate classification order.
Attention to detail is a requirement for this role, along with the ability to touch type at least 40 WPM. A typing test will be administered as part of the interview process. You will have good eyesight and language comprehension skills. We also require good time management skills in order to complete the entry of data in a timely fashion. You will exhibit polite professionalism in the role and maintain confidentiality at all times.
A professional knowledge of Excel or other Microsoft Office products is required.
Responsibilities
- Sorting and collating data.
- Preparing data for input into our computer system.
- Following data entry requirements outlined by the company.
- Flagging data that is incomplete or coded improperly.
- Backing up data for proper storage.
- Double-checking data entry with physical and database copies.

Technical

- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software such as salesforce.com is a plus.
